Welcome to BriteBase
What BriteBase does, who it's for, and how a job moves from quote to takedown.
BriteBase is the platform for running a holiday lighting and decoration install business. It helps you quote work, schedule and run installs, and handle end-of-season takedowns — all in one place, so your office and your field crews are working from the same information.
Throughout BriteBase, the people you do work for — homeowners and property owners — are your clients.
What BriteBase is not
BriteBase is not a CRM. It doesn't replace the tool you use to find and qualify new leads. Instead, it picks up after a lead is qualified and ready for a price — and it connects to the CRM you already use (like Salesforce), so client details flow in without anyone re-typing them.
How a job flows
Once a lead is qualified, BriteBase carries the job through four stages:
- Quote — Build a priced proposal for the lighting or decoration work and send it to your client to review and accept. (A proposal is the polished price quote your client receives.)
- Work order — When your client accepts and you confirm the details, the quote becomes a work order: the confirmed job, ready to schedule and assign to a crew.
- Install — Your crew puts the lights and decorations up, working from the work order out in the field.
- Takedown — At the end of the season, your crew removes everything and closes out the job.
That quote → work order → install → takedown path is the backbone of BriteBase. For the deeper picture — what each stage means and how they connect — see How BriteBase models a job.
