Getting Started

Set up your company

Get your company set up in BriteBase so you can send your first quote the same day.

When you first sign in to BriteBase, a short setup walks you through everything your company needs before you can start quoting work. Most owners finish it in one sitting and send their first quote the same day.

In this guide, you'll:

  • Add your company's contact details
  • Add your logo and brand colors
  • Invite your team
  • Set up the services you sell

Before you begin

Have these on hand so you can move quickly:

  • Your company logo — a square image looks best
  • Your brand colors — the hex codes (like #1A73E8), if you have them

There's no Save button on the checklist

Your setup checklist keeps track of your progress for you. Each step turns green once it has what it needs, and you can leave and come back anytime — BriteBase remembers where you left off.

1. Add your company info

Start with your company's name and contact details — the basics BriteBase needs before anything else.

On your setup checklist, select Configure on the Company Info step to open your Company settings page. In the General section, enter your company name and choose your timezone. Then, in the Contact section, add your address and phone number. You can also add your email and website, but those are optional.

Your timezone keeps scheduling and reports accurate, so it's worth setting even if you only work in one place.

Select Save changes when you're done. Once your name, address, phone, and timezone are saved, the Company Info step turns green and your branding step unlocks.

2. Add your branding

Your branding is what makes a BriteBase proposal — the price quote your clients receive — look like it came from your company instead of ours.

You'll do both of these on the same Company settings page:

  • In the General section, select your company logo, then drag in an image or browse for one.
  • In the Branding section, set your primary and secondary brand colors. Pick from the presets or enter your own hex codes.

A live Preview shows how your colors will look on buttons and badges. Your logo and colors then appear on every proposal your clients receive.

Once you've added a logo or a brand color, the Branding step turns green.

3. Invite your team

Optional — you can do this anytime, and it won't hold up your first quote.

The Team step is where you bring in the people who'll work alongside you — salespeople, office staff, and crews — and choose what each person can do. Select Configure on the Team step, then add a teammate's email to send them an invite.

For the full walkthrough — inviting in a batch, choosing roles, and managing your team over time — see Add your team & roles.

4. Set up your services

Optional — you can come back to this later.

The Services step is where you build the list of things you sell — roofline lighting, trees, columns, custom work — so they're ready to drop into a quote. Select Configure on the Services step to start adding them.

You're ready to send your first quote

Once your company info and branding are in, the Review step lights up and confirms you're ready to go. You don't have to finish every step first — with your company set up, you can start quoting right away.

Next: build your first quote. (Guide coming soon.)

Change your company details later

Everything you set here lives on your Company settings page. Open it anytime to update your contact details, swap your logo, or adjust your brand colors — your changes apply to new proposals right away.
